General Terms & Conditions
What this page is
This is a plain-language summary of how Noordpunt Studio's service generally works. It is not the full legal agreement — the individual contract signed with each client, and the Data Processing Agreement (DPA) where applicable, are the source of truth and take precedence over this page.
The service
Noordpunt Studio offers project-based website packages (Website, Website + Booking, Premium Website) and ongoing Website Care. Current starting prices are listed on the Pricing page — these are introductory prices, and the final price for any project is confirmed in your quote before work begins.
What's included
The one-time website packages cover design and build of the agreed scope, including up to 2 rounds of reasonable revisions before launch unless your quote states otherwise. Revisions mean changes to the agreed website — text, photo, colour, or small layout changes. A new feature, a new booking system, a large number of new pages, a custom dashboard, or a major redesign isn't a revision — that's additional work, and can be quoted separately. Ongoing hosting, maintenance and small updates are only included if you've added Website Care — a one-time Website or Website + Booking purchase on its own does not include ongoing support.
Payment
Payment terms are specified clearly in your individual quote and agreement — the exact schedule (timing, any deposit) depends on the project and isn't fixed to one standard rule across every client. Work begins according to those agreed terms. Ongoing Website Care is billed according to the agreed subscription terms. Work outside the agreed scope may require a separate quote.
Your domain
Noordpunt Studio arranges and connects the domain agreed with you, as part of the website service — you don't need to purchase or manage it yourself. If the agreement ends, the domain is handed over to you, so you're free to use it with another provider.
Website Care and the initial term
Where Website Care is included, it runs on an initial 12-month agreement. During that term, Noordpunt Studio handles hosting, technical maintenance and troubleshooting, and minor content updates, while you pay the agreed monthly fee. Larger changes or new functionality fall outside Website Care and can be quoted separately.
Renewal
After the initial term, the agreement can be renewed. If you choose not to continue, Website Care ends according to what's agreed in your contract.
If you end the agreement
The agreement has an initial agreed term. After that term, the service can be ended according to the contract. Your website remains available for the paid/agreed service period. Once the service ends, the website may be deactivated according to the agreement. Your domain is handed over to you regardless. Any booking or personal data still held is handled per the retention rules in the Privacy Policy.
If Noordpunt Studio ends the agreement
If Noordpunt Studio ever needs to end an agreement, the termination terms in your individual contract apply, including any notice period required there. Noordpunt Studio doesn't shut down a client's website outside of what the contract allows.
Website transfer
A technical transfer of the website itself to another provider isn't included in the standard service — that's separate from your domain, which is always handed over. Where a website transfer is requested, it's assessed for technical feasibility, agreed separately, and may involve an additional fee — not every setup can be transferred.
Client responsibilities
You're responsible for the accuracy of the business information, services, prices, opening hours, logo, photos, contact details, descriptions and social media information you provide, and for making sure you have the right to use any content or images you supply. Delays in providing this information can delay the project.
Data and the DPA
How data is collected, used, and retained is described in the Privacy Policy. Any personal data still held when an agreement ends is handled according to that agreement and the retention rules in the Privacy Policy. Where Noordpunt Studio processes personal data on your behalf, a separate Data Processing Agreement (DPA / verwerkersovereenkomst) may apply as required by law — having one in place doesn't by itself guarantee your business is fully compliant.
